We’ve got almost everything covered in Vermont

Vermont
Local food embodies so much of the essence of Thanksgiving -- a time to celebrate the harvest and fellowship with those close to us.Eric and I are hosting thanksgiving for 8-9 folks; our meal will be at least 80% local. The cranberries will come from Vermont Cranberry Company and we've ordered a pastured turkey from Shuttleworth farm. We'll also have local veggies, potatoes, apple pie, and pumpkin pie.For libations, we'll serve Boyden farm's Gold Leaf after-dinner wine with dessert, a Shelburne farms white with appetizers, and my dad bringing a special vintage for the main meal.
