A Saying for the Ages
SEPTEMBER 13, 2007 - We're still on the road in the Kootenay region of B.C. for another week, and today we have only a few minutes online. All we'll share for now, then, is a an old Scottish saying we've heard along the way that speaks volumes to the value people once places on local food as they made visits to friends and family. Here goes:
"Bring honey. If you can't bring honey - bring preserves."
